On 23 June Britons voted in a national referendum to leave the European Union. In the first few days following the decision we’ve seen upheaval in both political and financial markets as the initial impact of this momentous decision begins to take effect.
“Brexit” is just one example of a risk that we knew was there but couldn’t truly quantify until it happened. Even now, it’s hard to know what its long-term consequences will be. And political risk is just one ingredient in the cocktail of issues businesses have to deal with today. It doesn’t help that the world is changing at such a rapid pace. The World Economic Forum believes that almost two thirds of school-age children today will graduate into jobs that don’t yet exist. So how can businesses navigate this?
